Thai Spicy Chicken and Basil

Farmer’s markets and CSA season are once again upon us, and that means we need recipes to use up all of nature’s delicious bounty. This is one of my go-to recipes for the summer (and one of my husband’s favorites) because it’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s very versatile – you can sub pretty much any kind of pepper with any level of heat to suit your own personal tastes.

I honestly thought about closing this blog down. I feel like I have a lot going on in my head, but little inclination to write any of it down. But I feel like that would be tantamount to throwing the towel in and giving up. If I give up now, I don’t know that I would ever start up again.

Addiction

I’m pretty sure that I’m addicted to sugar. But for some reason, I still let myself eat it, knowing full well that my addiction will quickly spiral out of control. What started out as a single slice of cake quickly turns into a slice of cake a day, or a quarter of that cake in a single sitting.
